It was an amazing stay! The host is very friendly and cares a lot about his guests well being. He cooked a super tasty three course dinner with homemade bread. Even between showers he cleaned the bathroom! The rooms are cozy and also very clean. He even gave us some advice about next days route on the Camino. Next to the Albergue he set up a relaxation area with black roll, yoga mattress and amazing view in an historic Hórreo. Magnificent!

Best stay on the Camino yet. The owners are amazing and offer all the help and services you may need. It’s a small house meaning it does not feel too crowded - it feels like a family house, the food was amazing, everything really clean. So easy to get to both of the routes after your stay too. Well recommended

Fantastic Albergue with a great Camino/pilgrim atmosphere! Tranquil location with beautiful views. Communal dinner was excellent, all cooked freshly and homemade! Including the bread! One of the best I've stayed in, booking in advance advised! Thanks.

The Albergue de Samblismo was somewhere I really looked forward to and it didn’t disappoint. The hosts were impeccable in their attention, hospitality, communication and quality. From our first moment we felt like family, the food and atmosphere created by the Albergue is unique on the Camino. I have only the utmost of thanks to both Tatiana and Javier for sharing their Albergue and food with us.

There were 3 of us, and we weren't feel welcome by the owner. The owner said to my friend that she is responsible for our donations because he thinks that Chinese people don't pay. But, just because we have yellow skin doesn't mean that we are Chinese. We were then asked to pay the donation as a group in person after dinner. We weren't feel comfortable the whole time when we were there. This morning, after breakfast, we were packing to leave. It was before 7am, he came and knocked on our door and said that the Albergue is closing, we need to leave.... We should've just gone somewhere else instead of staying here... Maybe only people with lighter skin will get the chance to enjoy his hospitality.....
