Staying at the municipal hostel in Estella was an absolute delight and a wallet-friendly choice for budget travelers, priced at just 8 euros per person. Cleanliness is evidently a top priority here, as every area of the hostel was spotless. The staff deserves a special mention for their heartfelt hospitality. Their willingness to accept reservations was a lifesaver for us, especially since we arrived later than planned. As for amenities, the showers offer a consistent flow of hot water—a must-have after a long day on the road. Additionally, the terrace serves as a serene spot for some much-needed relaxation. The kitchen area is spacious and doubles as a dining room, which is a convenient feature. However, the kitchen’s only appliance is a microwave, somewhat limiting your cooking options. In summary, the municipal hostel in Estella ticks almost all the boxes for a satisfying, budget-friendly stay. Highly recommended for its cleanliness, warm staff, and solid amenities—with only a minor hiccup in the kitchen facilities.

The Columbian couple running the albergue when we stayed were so kind. John made sure we had a bed when we arrived after a long and painful journey with knee injuries. There is a nice little courtyard garden, good kitchen facilities, and great atmosphere.

Great location. Lovely staff. It’s a true Albergue, big kitchen just can’t cook but can microwave. No pilgrim menu but plenty around! Laundry for €, dryer or a place to hang your clothes. 8€ per bed as it should be.

This is the most homie and cosy albergue you'll get to stay in. The staff are incredibly friendly, caring and willing to help. Many pilgrim's hate the curfew, but the albergue has a nice garden where (if you're respectful and quiet) you may stay and enjoy a longer night. 110% recommend and you WILL NOT regret going there. Beds are comfy, whole place is kept extra clean and tidy. Also, if you're lucky you might eat some paella hehe. THANK YOU!!!! ❤️

Wow, I can’t say enough good things about this place. Clean facilities, hot shower, semi private bunk beds. We had an issue that needed to involve police and the staff was so supportive. Also on the day we arrived there was a fiesta with paella and wine for the pilgrims to celebrate the Saint. It was free and we had so much fun. Stay here, if you are a pilgrim on the Camino.
