It was a great experience. One of the best Municipal Albergues so far. And the guy from the reception was very nice and helpful. Thank you Carlos!

Stayed 16/06/25 - Great example of an Albergue. Large building with good kitchen, bathroom and relaxing rooms. The rooms were dormitory style with bunk beds in rows but the room was well ventilated. There is a pleasant housecat who comes to say hello to everyone, very gentle. We enjoyed our stay here and were able to dry our clothes on the outside balcony style corridors. Plenty of friendly pilgrims

Now I remember why I did not take any photos, it’s because I was barely conscious when I finally finished the crazy 1,5 km climb to the city in the end of the quite challenging day :) And the host, seeing my condition, was extremely patient and accommodating. Even helped me with WiFi registration by just taking my phone and physically doing it. I guess she really likes cats, since there plenty of them in Albergue :) Otherwise, standard municipal place, no blankets, no cutlery in the kitchen, but plenty of sitting and relaxing areas across this beautifully renovated old stone house. Decent showers and clean bathrooms. WiFi signal was good in the dorm only because I have specifically check where it works the best, so I have ended up on the closest bed to the entrance of the dorm.

Beautiful albergue, friendly hospitaliera but the first municipal on the CP managed by Xunta Galicia which means NO kitchen utensils, NO blankets. This has been Xunta policy since at least 2019 but a lot of pilgrims don't seem to know.

Nice place but services and basics lacking (only place on the Primitivo that didn't have blankets). I went an extra 4km to Complejo Piñeiral and found a FABULOUS albergue/pension for 15€/night that has private sleep cells, a great restaurants/bar and a Pilgrim menu. One of the best on the Primitivo!
