Great place and location
The bed was barely adequate for two people. The heating was practically useless on such a cold night, and there weren't even any blankets in the room to keep warm. But the worst part was the phone service: they don't have WhatsApp enabled, and they didn't answer the phone once, not even when we called to request a heater in the room... not even to return the keys when we left, even though reception was closed! The only good thing was the location, right on the Ronda de la Muralla.
The service from the manager was fantastic. We let him know we might arrive later than 7 p.m., and he didn't present any problems. She explained what we could see, where to have dinner and breakfast, and told us to call her with any questions or concerns. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. It included hand soap and small bottles of shower gel/shampoo. The location was excellent, and we were able to park easily, right next to the bus station, which is almost right next door. As a minor drawback, the bathroom needs renovation and a change of furniture. Although it was very clean, it was also very clean. The heating is on high for most of the day, even at night, so it was too hot to sleep. However, at 9 a.m. it's still not on, so if you want to shower in the morning, the bathroom and room are a bit colder. The Wi-Fi didn't reach our room (with mobile data, this wasn't a problem, but it might be for some).
The location is unbeatable, and the service from booking to check-out was excellent. They are super pet-friendly; we even had to bring our cats (in addition to our dog), and we notified them a few days in advance, but they didn't have any problem with it at all. In fact, they made sure our pets were comfortable. The room was very clean and simple, just as described in the photos. Excellent value for money.
We had a very pleasant stay. Liss greeted us and gave us a small bag of treats for our dog, which included a veterinary card. I thought this was a lovely touch. The room was also very nice and had a view of the city walls. It had everything we needed, and I would definitely return. 100% recommended.
