Pensión La Catedral

We stayed one night for a hen party in León. It was a cheap guesthouse with comfortable mattresses and was clean. The only downside was the small fan; even so, it was very hot in the rooms. If you're just passing through for a night, this is the place for you…

The guesthouse is very clean, and the rooms are renovated and comfortable. The only drawback is the doorbell if you're on the lower floor. Well located, very close to the Cathedral and the Barrio Humid. If you're walking the Camino and want to relax outside of the hostels in the capital, I recommend it.

I no longer had free cancellation, but a personal matter came up and I couldn't travel... I spoke with the owner and she was very kind. I sent her a cancellation request with no charge and she accepted it. A nice touch, thank you!

During my phone conversation with reception, I asked for a double room with a bathroom. Actually, one room and a bathroom were three rooms.

An acceptable overnight stay at an affordable price. It was centrally located, and we slept comfortably and quietly. The staff was very friendly. The only downside, though unacceptable, was that we arrived and, despite not sharing the bathroom with anyone because the other room was empty, they didn't leave toilet paper. We arrived at 9:30 p.m., so there was no place to buy it nearby, which caused us a lot of trouble.
