Location was excellent. It is one street off the main seaside boulevard. Staff was great, room was very clean.

Two stars for the location and the cleanliness. But be warned: very bad sound isolation! We heard conversations at the reception one floor down perfectly in our room, every door that opens and closes , the elevator, ppl having "fun" at night: you hear everything. Also , it was not possible to take a shower without flooding half of the tiny bathroom.
The decor though out the hotel was fresh, bright and clean and the room, although not huge, was warm and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and I would recommend this for anyone to stay in whilst visiting the area.
This is a lovely little hostel, in a fantastic location. You are right beside everything in town. It gets an extra star from me because the very kind landlady gave me the last room in Castro. After walking the Camino and not really sleeping for 3 nights in the albergues, this was my little corner of heaven for 12 hours!!! The Camino del Norte in August was busy and it doesn't have the infrastructure of the Frances, so there are bottlenecks with not enough beds. Castro is one of those places, book ahead and sleep well. The landlady told me later she was turning away Pelegrinos every 5 minutes.
Not a bad place to stay on the Camino. I was a walk in guest, and happy to have the room. Staff were friendly and the room was clean.
