We found ourselves in the Borres albergue, running very low on cash and hungry. We walked back to this place and ate a great pilgrim's menu there. It had quite a few dish choices, big portions, good taste, low prices and the best part, we could pay by card! There was also a mini market attached to the restaurant, so we managed to buy all that we needed. It truly saved us! Lastly, the staff was very friendly and the service fast!

very basic accommodations like others have said. the food and drinks are very expensive and they aggressively try to upsell to you. €6 for coffee and a coke!!

18 euros for dormitory, bed and showers fine but everything is one room. After paying i was told restaurant is closed - there is only supermarket food but no kitchen to cook. Also no fridge so can't store food. No drinking water in the albergue, only warm bathroom tap water. Place is next to very noisy work site which you can hear in the albergue and the bar plays loud radio music so there is no escaping the noise. I would avoid this and go anywhere else.

ATTENTION SCAM!! In winter time, better stay in Borres only 40 minutes down the Camino, plan to not stay in this village because you’ll find out that the dormitory is closed but they will scam you for 60€ for a small room with bed and shower and nothing else which isn’t even suitable as an accommodation, no table, no good heating, windows out to the factory, wind trembling the windows, had the coldest night in a hotel. 60€ I wouldn’t pay for that. they do have a shop and a small bar open year round, use only that if needed.

The great hotel. It has common and private rooms. Room was clean, warm and comfortable. There is supermarket just in the hotel.
