A little way off the camino path but had a decent night sleep here
The apartment we were given was not clearly labeled as an “Apartamento Camino Ingles,” resulting in the luggage transport company delivering my wife’s backpack to the wrong apartment because it was the only one with the “Apartamento Camino Ingles” sign. The shower is so small a grown adult cannot enter it without scraping the sides of the door. In addition, it is full of mildew, as is the area around the sink. The shower head is not attached to the wall, and the holder for it appears to have been removed from the wall, so the hose just hangs down along the wall. So there is no way to shower without holding the hose in one hand while trying to apply soap with the other. Though advertised as coming with free toiletries, there was nothing but shower gel. When we advised the owner that there was no hand soap in the dispenser, he said just to use the shower gel. There are chunks of plaster missing from the walls, and the ceiling light fixtures do not appear to be firmly attached. In addition, one of the electrical outlets in the kitchen is ripped out and the wiring exposed. There is no WiFi. While, to be fair, the advertising does not claim the apartment has it, in 2026 WiFi is such a standard, expected part of life that to rent an apartment without it is just substandard.
It's a bit far from the road, and the room they gave us is small and the wardrobe is so small you can't even hang your clothes up.
