It WAS a perfectly fine place to stay. The staff were nice and helpful. Unfortunately they seem to have an ongoing bed bug problem that has affected me and other guests recently. I see another woman who stayed here the same night as me left a review about alerting the staff of the bugs and being "moved upstairs". Explains why her bed next to me stayed empty all night. In the morning when I got up I looked over and saw a bed bug crawling on it. The following days I got to find out just how horribly allergic I am to bed bug bites! Alas.

Bedbugs in room including on pillows!! We were moved upstairs after alerting reception and still found more bedbugs in the upstairs room too! Receptionist didn’t seem too bothered about it😭😭😭Kitchen amenities were also pretty bare, bathrooms were a bit icky and some of the beds had no plug sockets!
A place that flirts with being great but settles into just okay. The staff? Kind, efficient, present. The bones of the place are sturdy—real sheets, a washer that won’t cost you a euro, a clean kitchen—but the little pilgrim comforts have been overlooked. The top floor is like a sauna, and the emergency light glows like an interrogation lamp all night. No freezer. No lounge. No patio to sip a cold drink and relax. You’ll lie in bed, arms length to your neighbor, smelling their bad breath like it’s part of the Camino sacrament. It’s got potential...
Great facilities but you have to find it as they did not show us around . There is a large area in the back on the first floor with extra showers and toilets as otherwise, there is only 1 per floor(shared with maybe 22 bunks). Maybe laundry is free. Close the windows at night, The church bells ring til 11pm
The albergue was very clean and neat. Great value for money and the sister on the front desk was more than friendly. We were a group of 4 and had two bunk beds. The showers are good and have hot water. the kitchen is very well equipped and they have laundry option. It has a modern feel, still captures the spirit of the Camino. I highly recommend it, very good value for money. The board downstairs has info necessary and also the main door has a secure key.
