We stayed in the Pension part of Casa Pepa for our Camino. Pros: - the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. - the lentil soup at dinner was delicious (apparently this is their "thing") Cons: - the restaurant building looks pretty run down, although, to be fair it was really nice that they lit a fire in the fireplace the evening we were eating dinner there. That's more of a service thing though. The sign on the building is old and the longer you sit inside, the sadder it looks. - Paco is the guy behind the bar and he clearly couldn't care less about the fact you need something from him. Be prepared. - Super annoyed they kept hyping their breakfast in the emails I received but it was just a to-go cup of yogurt, a banana, and toast. Nothing hot offered.

They work really hard and offer very good quality of food! I didn't slept in the albergue but I stayed nearby a few days in my tent and they were very fdiendly and happy to see me again there everyday! Very good bocadillos and menu of the day!

"reception" to albergue is in restaurant next to accommodation. Clean and practical curtains in bed for privacy, we had shared bathroom with shower for 7 people. if asked they provide blanket

Group of six stayed here in three of their two bed rooms. The rooms were clean and quiet with nice extras and very modern and clean bathrooms. We ate and drank at the Cafe. Reasonable prices and tasty food. It was very busy as pilgrims made their over night here or just stopped to get out of the rain. Would stay again.

The shared room with bunk beds was clean, and quite standard for albergues. Water pressure in the shower was good and temperature control worked well. Food in the restaurant was really testy, 5 stars for that. But the air reeked of cow shit, I had gag reflexes throughout my stay there. And you can't close the windows in the room because it gets stuffy really fast. I have nothing to the albergue, it's pretty average, and the owners were nice. If you don't mind the cow shit definately check it out, but otherwise, just save yourself some trouble.
