Great place to stay, right on the Camino. I stayed in 2009 and again this year. Beds were comfy and we washed our clothes and hung them on their washing line in the garden. Very friendly and pilgrims meal was fabulous. Thank you!

Facility is top notch. Staff is excellent. Food was delicious. Everything is very clean. Only complaint was the somewhat uncomfortable coil spring beds. We would definitely stay again!

Can't recommend at all, the owner is a cruel, heartless man, who sent us away in the night with 3 children due to arriving later than 22:00. While he had enough free beds he claimed we didn't keep his rules and would disturb the other pilgrims. Even when promised to enter very quiet, or to take accommodation in a separate room, even if it's a storeroom, he denied, just as our plea to at least have a camp outside in the yard! He angrily scolded us to get ourselves in this situation (note that we were so late because of flight delays and a missing flight, where we could start our journey 6 hours later than planned, and due to getting almost no sleep could only start later in the morning on the second day. The kids are used to long walks doing 100+km pilgrimages yearly and also experienced in night trekking. They (and we) were on high spirits entering Santa Marina, literally singing. If not for this late ending day, we would have to give up our pilgrimage due to time constrains.) After the alberge, my smallest girl (10) cried all the way to the other alberge in town, where they managed to get accommodations for us despite the late hours and the fact that they were full with no free beds. Imo the owner of this alberge represents the very opposite of the spirit of the Camino pilgrimage and the most basic teachings of Christianity. Avoid at all cost!

Really great stay, the owners are very friendly, the room is clean and it has all the facilities you need. It was nice to sit in the garden after a long day on the Camino. The dinner was great and they made accomodations for vegetarians and gluten free diets.
