Great location for walking into the city (5min). Hotel room very clean and modern. You can hear people above you if they cough or walk around in hard soled shoes.( We were on floor 5). reception=one person was not a happy smiley person ( could do with learning to be a bit more friendly). Aircon was crap, really hot and stuffy in the room , had to open the window and put with the noise outside instead of unable to sleep .

Great hotel close to the old walled city. It has its own parking area out front and it's own parking garage which can be used for an additional feel. Parking in Lugo is free though. The hotel itself is clean, with a great selection for breakfast. Close to amenities, shops, cafeterias and the roman wall. The rooms could do with a bit of sprucing; our junior suite could have benefit from a touch of paint. Rooms more than satisfactory, bathrooms clean modern. Staff absolutely wonderful, will go out their way to help you. They are bilingual too. Will stay again.

Ok we wanted to love this place. The room was nice. The staff was friendly. Our issue was the air conditioning. It was so hot in the room and it wouldn’t cool. We called to let them know and the moved us to a new room, but it wasn’t much better. The temperature wouldn’t get below 23/74 and had started at 29/84. The outdoor temp overnight was 14/57 so I’m not sure why the rooms were so hot. Granted the daytime temps were up there. Opening the window didn’t help because there was no cross ventilation or draft to draw it in. Outside of that, the rooms were nice and I think it is a solid 4* place.

I had to cancel my reservation due to an unexpected family emergency. As a courtesy, I called the hotel to inform them and free up the room, fully aware that the fare was non-refundable given the short notice. I did not request a refund. What truly surprised me was being charged for breakfast—despite not having stayed at the hotel. When I contacted them to question this, their response was to send me the cancellation policy as if I hadn’t understood it, which felt dismissive and condescending. Courtesy should go both ways. I made the effort to notify them out of respect, and I expected at least a fair and thoughtful reply. Sadly, I won’t be extending that courtesy again.

Lovely hotel very clean plenty of space easy walking distance to the wall and city sites, excellent service from all the staff especially Don Carlos on reception his explanation in detail of places to visit and recommendations were invaluable, car parking good. Would recommend staying here when visiting Lugo
