I have a very pleasant stay, the Hostal El Cairo is in the perfect spot and you get no noise from the street. The person running the Hostal is very very communicative and helpful. And the place is spotless. Yes the place could be more comfortable, you have to go upstairs to the 4rd floor and the mattress is not that firm but still it was my favor because of the location and charm.

A nightmare. Small room, no windows, shared bathroom. And on top of that, expensive. A real rip-off. He lowered the price when I told him what I thought. He even lied to me on the phone. He said "parking was easy." It's a pedestrian street!
For me, it was a rip-off. They charged us €56 for a double room with the following issues: - It was on the 4th floor with no elevator. - It's an apartment with several rooms that open almost without a key; zero security. - The room overlooked a truly disgusting light well. - The bathroom is smaller than a coffin. - You can't move in the shower, not even bend down. I mean that literally. - The shower curtain was right up against your face. - You sit on the toilet and rest your chin on the sink. - The shower water leaks into the room. - Parking is a nightmare. Honestly, I feel ripped off. At most, the room is worth €35. The interaction with the staff was brief, but okay... A curious experience.
Good location, good price, and clean. Everything was quick and very easy.
