If you want the unique experience of staying in a 1000 year old building without electricity and with lovely Italian hosts, stop here for the night. While the main building has no electricity the wash room does, so you can have a hot shower and charge your phone at night. Payment for the night is donations only, and they provide a dinner (we pasta and stew with wine) and breakfast (bread, jam, coffee, and tea) in the morning.

We were so blessed when we saw this place was open, even though it should already been closed. We were warmly welcomed with our dog, after freezing outside for a couple nights. Amazing atmosphere, beautiful kind people, stunning interior, delicious dinner and warm shower. We will never forget this experience and are incredibly grateful
Very beautiful and unusual historical building. You can get a very pretty stamp to your pilgrim credential inside. Volunteers were offering coffee to the pilgrims.
