Unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant experience. The staff is unfriendly and only interested in money, and the service is nonexistent. There's no clear menu, and the waitress quickly recited the menu without any indication of prices. Then the food is dumped in front of you without any cutlery, napkin, or anything... and then the bill: a small bag of chips for €2.50, a panini for €7.50, which was only reheated. A ticket was impossible to get, and even a goodbye... so draw your own conclusion...

We had a good stay! Centrally located with enough space to sort your kit out before you get going on your Camino. The location was really fantastic. Sabine was a gem - ready to help with anything you need! A reassuring presence as you start your adventure!
My Favoret place to stay in St Jean. Not crowed nice comfortable single beds. Very quiet for a good nights sleep. Clean showers with hot water. I have stayed here five times now and Sabine is the best. Home cooked good food at extremly resonalbe prices. I'll be back for at lest one more stay
Accommodation was exactly as I expected AND Sabine was over the top helpful:) I had many questions as it was my first night on the Camino. Thank you so much for a great start, a comfortable bed and a warm welcome. Barb
Sabine was an exceptional host. She went out of her way to help us when we made an error with our booking. The rooms were very comfortable, and very clean. Breakfast was great. I cannot recommend Zuharpeta hostel and bar highly enough. Lovely stay, Merci!
