The food itself was actually good, which makes this experience even more disappointing. We came as quite the larger group, spent a significant amount of money, and expected at least basic kindness and respect in return. Unfortunately, the way we were treated by the staff was surprisingly unfriendly and unpleasant throughout the visit. I even addressed this politely on site, but nothing changed. As pilgrims, you hope to encounter a minimum of warmth and hospitality along the way — especially in places that welcome travelers. Sadly, this was not the case here. I truly cannot understand the attitude we experienced and, despite the ok food, I would not return and cannot recommend this place to other peregrinos.

I came here on the 2nd of January after every other place I called was closed, these people very kindly helped me AND THERE'S A BATH IN THE ROOM, which is just the best after 6 hours of walking.

The pizza was lovely for dinner! My dad had a cheese sandwich but the bread was like rubber and he didn’t eat it. Coffee at breakfast was great! The Tostadas were extremely small compared to all the other places we had breakfast on the Camino, it was like a tiny snack. We asked for a very light toast but it was rock hard as well. We have a 30km walk ahead of us so it was a bit of a pity.

We only ordered drinks, they brought some pastry, that we ate to be polite, thinking that it was free from charge as it had already happened to us before in Spanish bars. They charged for the pastry that we didn't order (and by the way it looked old). I explained the thing, but still, we had to pay. It is not a question of the amount of money that was not high, but the the question of trapping of the customers!
