A very quiet town with just a few dinner options. The highlight is the church on the small hill - especially the popular Sunday evening service, which left a strong impression with really high attendance, which is great! The hostel itself was basic but really nice and clean. I had a room with two bunk beds for single use at €28, which I really appreciated. The shower water was only barely warm, though there was a heater available. The albergue’s cafe is a popular spot with great breakfast options. Mateo is very friendly, caring and welcoming host - thank you!

Nice welcome from the lady, good room with heater and blankets, also heater in bathroom, bar downstairs popular with locals
good location! good price! very kind! clean! 1 floor cafe&bar-all food is good(If you order beer, you get free clam+chickpeas soup and bread, and it's really delicious!!!) 2 floor bed room(clean bed+big towel+warm and clean blanket+Bright interior with windows, There was a dehumidifier, so the laundry dried quickly.)
Great Albergue in the centre of Palas de Rei. Very clean, helpful staff and great bar downstairs.
We didn't get any sleep at this albergue. The rooms are above a noisy bar and you also hear doors slamming all night. The beds and pillows are uncomfortable. And to top it off, the shower pressure is just a trickle. The only advantage is the price but you get what you pay for.
