La Vita E Bella

I was very happy to find this place. Very clean, very quiet. No bags, no shoes are allowed in the rooms (rules of the house). I really liked it! It keeps the rooms neat and clean especially when you have so much backpackers in town. Heavy breakfast in the morning to make you ready for your big hike of the day. Beautiful, tidy and clean hostal in the center of Saint Jean Pied de Port. Very friendly and helpful staff who run the place with lots of love and passion. We had a good night sleep, and a delicious breakfast in the morning, just the right start to get onto the Camino. Very recommendable!

The host Sandrine is very welcoming, super nice and kind. The entire place is sparkling clean with cozy homey feeling. Lovely rooms. Access to washing machine and a dryer. It’s by the road that can be busy and noisy, yet it doesn’t pilgrims too much. Fantastic place

We have had a good stay in this hostel from 17th to 19th Oct 2023, before we starts our Camino walk. The owner is very nice. We heat up our food using their microwave and also the plates. The room is clean (and most important is that its bed bug's free). They own a dog and very lovely.
