1. There’s no one at the albergue taking care of it, so there is no control of who actually pays for their stay. Besides, some peregrinos walk in late at night, drunk, making noise. 2. There are two bathrooms, clogged bathroom showers (very unhygienic). There was not toilet paper available and only the two or three first guests gets to have a hot shower. The remaining, including myself , had to take cold showers. 3. No wifi. 4. Bathroom doorknob broken. 5. No kitchen. 6. And worst of all, no linen for the beds. 7. Few outlets for charging cell phone 8. No window or exhaust system. We truly do not recommend it.

Not bad for a night. Not many sockets unfortunately, and when we can there was no hot water. But blankets were provided and it was relatively clean. Beds were creaking, but bearable throughout the night. Overall ok, we expected worse by the reviews

Good value, bed with blanket and shower for 6,1€. No kitchen, no washing machine, but has clothes rack to hang hand washed clothes. Need to get key from the tourist office 100m away in the Tower above to its left, with opening hours 11:30 am to 2:00 pm and 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm (8:30 pm in summer)

We called it the fish house. Easy to find and cheap but I disliked the cold damp bathrooms. I had a headache and vertigo that night and we were upstairs so I had to carefully go down the stairs to the washrooms. I felt cold and as it was raining and the floors in the bathrooms were wet and dirty I did not shower there. There not enough plugins/outlets for phone charging and very basic accommodations. No kitchen or sitting room. There were very nice pilgrims here so I enjoyed their company. I’d recommend paying more and enjoying the town. There was a nice cafe close by and the view was great. You need to find the office in another building, to pay for a night.

Yes, cheap...but it can be better. There is no sign to let you know that you need to go up to the towe to pay and register. Dark and gloomy. No windows, no place to dry your wet clothes. Baths one of the bathrooms needs a new lock and door handle. Pilgrims go in and out at their own will. That means that some will party all night and come in at 3 am thus diaregarding those who are asleep. Rats felt at home in my backpack, they felt that it was a nice home. Ugh! Beds squeak like crazy. The Good part: the attendants were very nice.
