Beds could be a little softer but the rooms are clean and staff is very attentive when needed,also has good breakfast option in the morning before heading out.
Hotel and staff are very good but internet speed is terrible. I faced internet speed problem during my 7 days accommodation. I think you should to review your internet provider company.
Had a business trip to Ferrol, and Gran Hotel de Ferrol is highly recommended. The hotel was beautiful, with clean and comfortable rooms. The hotel provided excellent value for the price. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient, within walking distance of all the popular landmarks and easy access to shopping and restaurants. Everything about the hotel was great. Next time I visit Ferrol, this will be my go-to hotel.
Staying at this hotel is pure pleasure. The restaurant service is excellent, as is the reception. The food was very good, and the breakfasts were delicious. Special thanks to Cristian for being open, friendly and very professional in what he does.
Wow! Upon entering you’ll find the reception area to be a combination of old world elegance, charm and comfort mixed with modern charm. A bright and pleasant space that welcomes you to sit and stay a while. That is if you can get past Javier’s warm and welcoming greeting. To the ownership …give this man a raise! He kept going out of his way to make sure that my wife and I were comfortable. He is a true gem of a person that ALL hotels need as the first contact. The rooms are comfortable and above all CLEAN. The whole hotel exudes clean…. I doubt not that you could eat off the floor. The restaurant has its own charm and Raul went to the same school that Javier went to. The food was amazing. I had a mixed salad and the Monkfish. Just superb! My wife had a mixed salad but substituted goat cheese for the tuna. The cheese reminded her of some of the best goat cheese she’s had in Paris. The entrecôte was cooked to her desire but maybe only an 8 out of 10. Definitely very good but compared to our overall experience….. well let’s say she would order it again in a heartbeat. It’s hard to earn all 10’s…. I had to downgrade something otherwise you might think me a bore. Whole heartedly recommend this establishment! If in town don’t miss it. Stay for a drink or for a week….you will not regret it.
