Charming family run hotel with original details - like actual keys not key cards - and modern amenities - like excellent internet. Very clean, close to city center, and excellent espresso with breakfast.
It is comfortable since it is close to the train station, around 10 mins by walk. They also offer late check in, which was ideal since we arrived around midnight (the door was locked but then we rang the bell and the host opened for us). The staff don't speak English, but at least we managed to check in quite quickly and were shown to our rooms. The overall place is very clean, even the rooms and bathrooms. Towels and soap are provided. The view from the room was of an interior courtyard, and other room windows. Perhaps keep the curtains closed if you want some privacy. Didn't really affect my stay however, in fact it provided a great start for the Camino Ingles! (They can stamp your credentials as well)
Amazing hotel in Ferrol! Very sweet staff, we felt right at home. Rooms were clean and felt like we were transported back in time (in a good way). Wifi was amazingly fast! Parking can be tough but we managed to find spots near the hotel. The hotel offers $8/day parking in a garage next to the hotel for peace of mind. Walking distance to great restaurants. Great value.
Stayed at this hotel for a week in February 2019. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. From a clean,quiet, bright room,to the nice cafe attached,to the friendly staff. Lorena was a delight and spoke English better than my High School Spanish allowed. If there was a way to give more than 5 stars to this fine establishment,I gladly would do so
Door was locked from the inside when I tried to leave in the morning. An older man did come to open it (and stand in front of it) but I really hate the feeling of being locked in- plus, fire hazard!! Room was ok. Realistic expectations for 30 eur, though hand soap would have been appreciated. Clean enough but musty smelling (water also). My window opened onto the laundry area so no privacy and questionable security. Absolutely no sound proofing between rooms- I could hear the man next to me get up and pee in the night. If you’re looking for luxury - this is not it. If you simply want your own toilet…
