Require two night stay

I spent a few days with my family in this house to visit the Atapuerca archaeological site and part of the province of Burgos, and overall, the experience was good. The little house is very charming, with a garden and pool; three bedrooms, one bathroom (which would be a bit small for the maximum of 8 people they indicate), and a spacious and comfortable open-plan living room/kitchen with air conditioning. All the windows have mosquito nets, which is great. The location for visiting the Atapuerca site is fantastic because it's right next door. As for things to improve, for example, the bathroom has a skylight that should be able to be opened for ventilation because the door opens onto the open-plan kitchen/living room, and opening the door to ventilate it isn't ideal. Also, the water pressure in the shower is practically nonexistent, making it quite difficult for people with a lot of hair or very long hair to wash it. Another issue is that we found the pool with the heated cover in place; At the end of June, I think the least they could have done was ask us, but oh well, we notified them and they came the next day to remove it. An outdoor pool is unbeatable; it's a heated pool since they keep the water temperature controlled, and it would be nice to have some handrails for getting in and out. The pool shower has no pressure and no drain. The porch might seem a bit neglected since everything is a bit messy and the legs of the outdoor table are rusty. On the other hand, for a house for 8 people, it has very little garden furniture; but spending time in the garden is very pleasant. As for the village, it's very small, you can't find ice there, you have to go outside to buy it at a gas station, and there aren't many of those either; the bakery has bread, pastries, and serves good breakfasts, and for something savory there's the Atapuerca canteen, which is very good. In short, it's a pleasant place to stay if you're only there for a short time.

We booked for a weekend in September, and everything was great. The house was very comfortable, accessible, and the heated pool was fantastic; it was a pleasure to be in the water. The girl who gave us the keys was super nice and attentive. We were very comfortable.

Beautiful house with everything you need for a pleasant stay. It has three bedrooms, a bathroom, and a very spacious kitchen-living room with all the essentials. The garden is fantastic, with a barbecue and a swimming pool, perfect for summer. The owners are delightful and always available for anything you might need. Places like this make life wonderful.

Everything was great. Highly recommended for families.
