Hotel Rural Papasol

Atapeurca is a very small village on the Camino . The Hotel is very small and intimate, the rooms are clean and very comfortable. The owner provides a really good 3 course dinner and is very accommodating. I really enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to recommend this place .

I very run down place. Although room was comfortable with good view, clean shower and good heating the smell of tabaco and noise from the guests of the bar downstairs did not allow to really relax and rest after 30 km walk of the day at the Camino. Noise and smoking in the bar went till 11:30 pm. The downstairs bar and restaurant are dirty and uninviting.

Fabulous host and hostess who provided us with clean and comfortable accommodation in a typical Spanish rural hotel. The welcome was wonderful and the evening meal was home cooked real food using produce grown in their garden and it tasted superb. Nothing too fussy just plain simple Cooking done real well. The room was spacious and the bathroom more than good enough for our needs though European short baths do take some getting use too. We would would stay here again.

Do not judge a book by its cover! Food was great! Make sure you order the banana sweets!!

Out of the 50 nights on the Camino this was one of my favorites! It is a spotless farmhouse, the food was home made and fantastic! The part that makes it my favorite was the woman that worked there or owned it, she was so kind, helped with my reservation to visit the museum and was very accommodating to my diet. Given we used google to translate to communicate my stay was a heart warming memory.
