First off, let me say that the work of the volunteers is truly appreciated. Unfortunately, I had one of the worst nights on the Camino there and a very unpleasant experience overall. I understand that it’s a donativo, which may explain some of the positive reviews, but it’s honestly quite hard to give this place a genuinely good rating. The building itself is old and run-down, with flies infesting certain areas. There’s no Wi-Fi, which makes things a bit more complicated. Getting hot water in the showers is difficult — they’re very small and constantly flooded. There’s also no washing machine or dryer available, despite the number of pilgrims staying there. There’s nowhere to put your belongings near the bed, so bags end up scattered all over the floor. The blankets provided are extremely old, dirty, and itchy — for sanitary reasons, I would strongly advise against using them. The volunteers seem to do their best, but I have to say I was pretty disgusted by this place and sincerely hope never to return.

I had a blast during my overnight stay. It is a donative hostel run by volunteers, many of which are veterans pilgrims. Very warm welcoming and company. Great dinner and abundant breakfast. I’m not a believer but we had a reflection moment (not mandatory) and it was very touching and enriching.

Amazing place with very kind hospitaleros, greetings to Nuria ;), beautifully organised communal dinner, old and very interesting house with 200 y.o. ornaments. Breakfast also served, donation based, we had a evening sharing with candles together and watched the sunset. One of the better experiences on the Camino!

Well organized. A bed, a shower, a meal and a place to hang your laundry. The hospitaleros were a little bossy, but after 5000 or so peregrinos, all enchanted and in the moment, it would be hard to stay starry-eyed and in wonder of the Way to Santiago...... 5 minute walk to the local tienda for cold drinks and Snickers bars was a plus. Great location.

I stayed here last night, donation Albergue but everything is priceless. Thank you for volunteers Monica and Tamy, they are caring and sweet. Highly recommend for 8:30 pm reflection and sunset time. Super nice, warm and beloved with everyone’s hug and sharing.
