Great place to stay in Estella on the way to Santiago de Compostela! Fair price, fully equiped, well located and good atmosphere!
I didn't love the fact that there was one big space with lots of bunk beds. The place felt tight and busy. Facilities were not clean. It had a nice kitchen door and washer and dryer which was nice.
It’s not the prettiest albergue on the Camino but it’s the one with the most heart. We were lucky to come on a slow day and our little group got VIP treatment.
The best albergue we have stayed in on the camino. Ernesto and Idoia were looking after us and we very welcoming, we spoke with them for much of the night and they shared food and stories. The money you spend goes towards people with disabilities in the area and, although it is a bit further then the main albergue in the area, it is very much worth it! Wonderful albergue. The best on the Camino route from Saint Jean Pied de Port. Make it your first choice. It's very clean, equipped with all one needs to make a meal and have a comfortable stay. There is something very special about this place that cannot be put into words. All this and we contribute to a wonderful cause. Blessings to you all, pilgrims.
