Stayed in a 3 bed room. It was small, but enough room for one night. The place was clean, no sleeping bag required, and the shower was really nice. It's not connected to the bar/restaurant, so it's very quiet. The restaurant hosted a delicious community dinner for the pilgrims that you shouldn't miss. The hosts were kind, informative, and so sweet. Hontanas is a great place to stop!
Had a comfortable room but unfortunately it was too expensive for the service we hoped for. 70€ per night. No table lamps and the bed was poor quality, squeaked and wobbled. I still slept well because I was obviously tired from hiking. The owner or employee was very friendly and accommodating when handing over the keys. The room had air conditioning, but unfortunately it didn't work, which I really missed in the afternoon during my siesta. Unfortunately, the kitchen is not available for pilgrims, nor is there a refrigerator. The same owner owns the only village restaurant next door. You are therefore tacitly asked to eat in a restaurant and not to cook yourself. The guest house has a laundry room where you can hand wash clothes.
A very nice and cozy place, a very quiet town, the best of all the hospitality and great kindness and professionalism of Luis and Laura, owners who go out of their way for their clients, they love what they do and it shows, the customer service a 10!!! Without a doubt a great place to return and we took with us pleasant memories and a beautiful friendship. A place where your pet will be received as well as you, excellent if you go with your dog. The food was served very quickly and everything was delicious, the rooms sleep luxuriously, there is a swimming pool next door, so everything is very nice and comfortable.
The girl who helped me is charming, the rural house is good, I had the attic room and the ceiling is a little low but it is still comfortable with a very spacious bathroom and everything clean. If you arrive early, the town has a swimming pool, which your legs will especially appreciate.
Exceptional place to rest and disconnect Luis and his wife make you feel at home Rooms without luxuries, but super well equipped No noise or external disturbances It has been a real pleasure to stay in this small town on the Camino de Santiago
