Had a few tapas and beers here. Nice stop. Friendly in my opinion. You must realize from these bad reviews that some places are simply overwhelmed by pilgrim numbers. Hard to be fake and nice to 200 tourists every day thinking they are in Disneyland Camino. Smile, say buenas, say por favor, be patient and appreciative. When you don’t in Spain they consider you a little cold.
The peopel that run this place are horrid. I was not greeted. They threw the keys and passport at me and left. I had to try to find my room. Nobody greeted me in the restaurant or ever said thank you or tried to be helpful. This joint should be taken off Booking.com and out of all of the Camino guidebooks. Great location, horrid staff. YUCK!! Horrid memory for this town.
Only 4 people in each dorm (2 bunk beds) with an attached bathroom. Proper bed linen. Decent heating and WiFi. Very good value at 14E per bed. Tasty traditional food. Cold beer in the evening, hot coffee in the morning. What more can a pilgrim want?! Recommended!

I had the pleasure of staying one night, I had a wonderful meal too many beers, and when I asked about, could I find a lower bunk than one I’ve been assigned. The owner gladly moved me to her room, which it turns out I was all by myself. I think the service was wonderful. And would gladly come again. My Camino friend from Germany stayed here last night, and highly recommended it. He was right!
