Walking the Camino , stopped here on the first night (Saturday) for the night. The waitress from the cafeteria was the front desk person, as well as the only person working the cafeteria. She was very nice, but haggard as she was very busy. They were not serving food that evening, and the town seems to roll up after 6. The rooms were clean and decent sized- the shower in room 106 was great, great pressure and nice and hot.
This is a good hotel in Hospital de Órbigo, with a very convenient position, right besides the gas station and in front of the main road where that are the bus stops to and from the main cities of the surrounding area. They also have a comfortable bar, which serves coffees and breakfasts, as well as some warm dishes for people passing by and maybe waiting for a bus.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had to stop for the night on our trip through Asturias and found this hotel almost at the last minute (we made the reservation the day before). We arrived quite late, but they were still attentive to us, explaining everything and preparing everything for us at the reception. Check-in was very quick and easy (something that's appreciated when you arrive exhausted from driving so much). 🤗 The room was very new, comfortable, and clean. In the morning, we had breakfast at the cafeteria and everything was delicious and reasonably priced. Plus, there's a gas station right next door, which is very convenient for buying something outside the bar. The location was perfect: good direct access to highways and motorways, ideal if you're traveling and need to spend the night. We were pleasantly surprised by the value for money, especially booking so last minute. In short, a great experience and highly recommended.❤️❤️
Service, to put it mildly, is slow. You order a platter, a sandwich, or something to eat, and they don't bring it to your table. They're listless, their faces serious, and you feel like you're in a funeral home. I go when the ones next door are closed for recess, and it's a complete disaster.
I stayed at the Hotel El Paso Honroso and had a very pleasant stay. The room was comfortable, and what I liked most was the shower, spacious and perfect for relaxing. As a small detail that needed improvement, I missed having shampoo in the bathroom. Even so, it was a very positive experience. I would come back!
