You want super nice but simple this is the place to stay. Far better than any fancy hotel you likely would over pay. In this accommodation they still do the rooms every day they clean all the surfaces and mop the floors every day so every time you’re back your room smells properly clean. Breakfast is very simple but it has a few things to get you started. I couldn’t be happier with my stay. When in Porto I will not stay anywhere else but here. Big thanks to Eugenio and the rest of the staff.

I stayed here with my wife at the end of our cycle trip. It could not have been better for us. A safe place to store our bikes, a fantastic room with a very invigorating shower. The bed was perfect and the location is just 2 minutes from the heart of Matosinhos. The public transport into the historic centre of Porto is very easy or a healthy walk if you prefer. The prices for this hotel and the restaurants in Matosinhos are very favorable to Porto itself. Breakfast in the rear garden/courtyard area is an absolute delight.

As good as any hotel and under the personal care of Eugenio. A beautifully restored old house with sparkling rooms a breakfast courtyard. The perfect base to explore Porto. The metro and the 500 bus are just outside the door. Also it is only 10 minutes by taxi from the airport.

Neat hotel rooms in central yet quiet location. Great organization and the staff is friendly and helpful. Everything is reachable within ~5 minutes foot walk - from supermarket to bus and metro.

Best bed and breakfast I've ever been. Totally enjoyed my stay. Super nice Host. Eugenio is very kind and always available for questions. The room was nice and quiet. Bed was amazing. Very close to the beach and to public transport to get into Porto city center.Supermarket and nice Restaurants are nearby too.Also there's a bus to the airport round the corner. The breakfast was superbe. I really loved the morning cake. You also can rent an E-Bike. My room was always clean when I came back at the end of the day. After doing the Camino I loved to relax in Casa Rietsch. Highly recommend. Thanks to the entire stuff of Casa Rietsch
