This is a truly special place. The building is over 200 years old and beautifully preserves its historic character, while a complete renovation has made everything inside modern, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. I was impressed by how well the owners combined the charm of a traditional Galician house with all the conveniences that pilgrims need today. The atmosphere is peaceful, authentic, and very welcoming. A special thank you to Iván, who was incredibly kind and helpful. He took the time to explain everything, show us around, and make sure we felt at home. His hospitality made our stay even more memorable. I highly recommend this albergue to anyone walking the Camino Primitivo. A perfect combination of history, comfort, cleanliness, and genuine hospitality.

We passed this place while doing the Camino Primitivo and decided to have lunch here. During our 10 days in Spain we never had a piece of meat (chicken and pork) so juicy and well cooked. It was truly amazing! The terrace was also beautiful, the service fast and the person serving us very friendly.

A very nice, new and modern albergue room. The bunks have curtains that give you privacy and the mattresses are very comfortable. The food in the bar is good too and the owner is patient and kind. There's a modern coffee machine in the kitchen and they provide coffee pods. Also some snacks and fruit were available. The bathrooms are modern and clean too. The outdoor space is large and lovely with ample drying space. They'll give you access to a washing machine for a small fee too. We needed a needle and thread to deal with my husband's blisters and the owner was very patient with us trying to explain what we needed and helped us. He also gave us milk for our porridge in the morning and didn't accept payment for it. The "wandering in the kitchen", very friendly shepherd dog was just a big bonus for an animal lover like me 🤩

This has been one of my most favorite stops on the Camino de Santiago Primitivo! All the bunks have privacy curtains, the showers are clean and hot! The common are is adorable. We had dinner at the adjacent restaurant and it was the best meal I’ve had the whole Camino! I am so happy we pushed past Ferreira to make it here!

If the waitress was not emotional, our eating experience would be okay. Midway of Camino, pilgrims couldn’t have big meals and it Is not easy to do business, we understood. That was exactly why we were there to have lunch. A bottle of wine without label for €10?! However, they were very nice to allow a pilgrim to use bathroom without buying anything 👍
