I asked when I arrived if it would be better to pay directly rather than through booking.com as I genuinely want to support local and they agreed to cancel /refund so I could pay the €15 direct (above the walk in price of €12) this turned out to cost me more as I had a battle to resolve with booking.com denying the refund blaming the Albergue and the Albergue kept saying that it was booking.com fault.. Ive updated my review as it did finally get resolved with payment being made directly from the Albergue.. My stay here other than this issue was ok, the rooms don't have a huge amount of beds which is nice, the location is good because it's just as you enter town and right next to a good restaurant/bar.

This little gem of a hostel is located just at the entrance of the town and it was the perfect stop for us after a day of walking the Camino. The rooms are simple and there is only one shared bathroom with a shower. But it’s all together and nice to have space to dress after your shower. The restaurant next store is decent. Cold beers, good coffee. I recommend the desserts, the chicken sandwich and the soup. Fish was not great, pasta was okay.
Great value. Also got referred to great massage near albergue
Had a nice stay here during our camino. Had the 4 bunk room to the both of us. The host Bea was very attentive. Even have a shed to keep our bicycles and charging its batteries.
Tourist trap. No respect for the customers. Money machine management. - No quiet time - One bathroom for eight people - Chaotic check in - Garden in awful conditions
