The Fonsagrada Campsite is an ideal place to enjoy Galician nature in complete tranquility. Its facilities are very well maintained, with spacious and well-equipped pitches, as well as cozy and spotless bungalows. The surroundings are spectacular, surrounded by mountains and hiking trails, perfect for relaxing. Xosé is friendly, very attentive, and always great to talk to, which makes the stay even more pleasant. Without a doubt, a great choice – we’ll be back.
Camping with motorcycles. Nice location. The bathrooms/showers/basins/toilets were not cleaned once, had no soap, and had low hygiene/were dirty. Unfortunately, because of this, we caught a heavy sickness virus within day 1 that cost us 3 days of riding and had no choice but to stay to recover from jet fuel sickness both ends - obviously, you can't be so sure, but all things considered the hygiene state and especially no hand soap we believe we caught it here and hearing other guests having difficulties as well... The showers had tepid water temperature, not very comfortable normally, let alone being sick, and the drainage should be better. The door locks do not work properly, with one guest getting trapped inside. A decent day of maintenance would sort the issues ... With this said, the owners were friendly and welcoming, and we hope, at the very least, the cleaning routine will be met to routine... - if a place is open 'in season' or not, it MUST be cleaned with paying guests being on site.
Awesome camping! I stayed in a Bugalow for 2 weeks with my dog and it formed a small family between all of us! Silence! There is also a pool for the sumertime and also shemine for winter time!
We had a wonderful stay with a fantastic view from our bungalow. The bungalow was for 2 People and completely new with a fully equipped kitchen, own bathroom and a bedroom. It was very comfortable with a heating oven, TV an dining area. We got everything we needed from the friendly owner of the campingsite at the restaurant. He cooked a tasty menu for us in the evening with quite good wine for 2,20€ per bottle (in Germany the same wine would cost 22€ ). Muchas gracias Xose!
I stayed here in May 2018. The pitches are on two levels. All the pitches on the top level were available but we couldn't find anywhere suitable because there was dog mess on most of them. The bathrooms were tired and in need of a major overhaul. Having said that, we found a nice pitch on the lower level where the views are very good. The owner was very friendly and there was a great atmosphere in the bar.
