Perfect accommodation to sleep if you walk the Camino Ingles as you walk the 1.3km very steep part out of town when the legs is warm. The owner cooked himself for us dinner which was lovely and the rooms was clean.
I was hoping and was prepared to overnight at the municipal albergue in the main part of town, with this pension booked as a backup. I actually ended up going here because I noticed the reviews pointing out its actual location (see below) and I don't regret it. I want to shoutout Senor Diaz for keeping the reception counter open just long enough for me to get there after he was supposed to close for the afternoon.
The food was very delicious and the lady of the house was very kind, helpful and hospitable. We communicated through Google translate and had a great laugh about it. Even booking my room for another night spontaneously was no problem at all. The only down thing was the location. However, I would stay here anytime again :-)
Sweet, helpful people! They are very helpful and welcome dogs with open hearts. Big, clean rooms with all you need if you are passing through on the camino.
We stayed at a nearby hotel along the Camino de Santiago and went there for a dinner. It was amazing as the food was delicious and so abundant and the cook and waitress so nice. We had two different soups and ordered some filet plus the wine of the house... We could have fed six people at least and paid less than what you could imagine for one. Go there!
