Albergue Santa Lucia de Olveiroa

The lady was super impolite, caring about the money strictly without any good services. She charged us more for the laundry without informing us in advance that is extra (there was no any price written either). The water in the shower was cold too.

Booked a double room - they don't have a double room just a dingy room with 2 bunks. We didn't stay - went to the municipal instead which was 100% better. This is not a proper albergue it's a very odd place

Giving 1 star is very generous, the best way to describe it, is a place that it should not be called even "albergue". Expect nothing and you will be fine. Pity, the build is very nice but inside is awful.

Cave, farm, stable... My pigs live better in the sty. The towels were so dirty my wife had to dry herself with toilet paper. The sheets had more stains than a baby's bib. I'd rather go back to the start of the stage than sleep here again. Not recommended at all.

The hostel had some shortcomings, such as the advertised kitchen, which was nonexistent. Fernando accommodated us upstairs and gave us the bathroom to ourselves. There were no other pilgrims. The bathroom was faulty and not very clean. It's a shame we didn't discover the one downstairs, which was much newer and cleaner. Laundry service was expensive ☹️ Overall, it lacked a certain warmth and professionalism. There are better alternatives in the village. We had a wonderful meal at Casa Manola, and we were lucky enough to avoid a torrential downpour!
