Hotel Exe Oviedo Centro

A good hotel located between the main road and the railroad. There can be a little noise at night from the trains but not too bad. The rooms are a good size. The beds are firm ( which I love) and the room well presented and clean. There are no coffee making facilities in the room. There are pump action soaps and lotions. The decor is a little dated but holding up ok. The buffet was fairly standard with good variety and high standard. A good place to stay in the city and not too far from the old town

A bit dated in the interior, but overall okay stay. Great location - very close walking distance to the city centre and old town. There is parking available for 12€ per day. The entrance is literally right beside the entrance doors - it is easy to miss because you have to literally drive on the pedestrian path. Do not go into the bus terminal! You don’t hear any street or traffic noise but there is definitely no sound proofing for the corridors or other rooms. Can hear footsteps from above and also any conversations or doors closing in the hallway. There is also no tea or coffee facilities (ie kettle) in the room which is surprising for a 4 star hotel. Service overall was great, friendly staff.

Possibly the nicest staff member at reception I have ever met in any hotel anywhere. I don’t know her name but her manager will, which is the most important thing really. Date of stay: 8 /9 Sept 2024. She should be a senior manager in this hotel group as she has effortless natural skills when it comes to welcoming and helping guests. Smiling and warm and a great ambassador not just for the hotel group but for Oviedo and Asturias as well. ♥️(enjoy your bowling tonight 😀)

Very good location, 5 min by walk from the train station and 10 min from the city center. The hotel have an offer which includes accommodation with breakfast and parking, very useful. The parking doesn't have any sign from outside, although it's just next to the entrance, but if you don't know exactly where it is you can't find it so easily. We passed by and had to make an extra 20 minute U-turn to get back to the hotel again. The breakfast is super simple, not the best one i've tried. If you are not in a hurry better to eat outside, especially since there are many good places nearby. The room looks quite used, does not compare well with the level of a 4 star hotel.

Unfortunately walking into our spacious bedroom was a disappointment. The carpet is dirty, the walls are dirty, the furniture has seen better days and the unpleasant aroma that assails your nose is an offence. To add insult to injury the room has interleading doors, obviously to another bedroom, which we are unable to lock on our side. The bathroom is however clean and so is the linen. Given the good reviews I have seen I can only wondered what happened.
