An incredible historic hotel for a surprisingly reasonable price The location is hard to beat. Right across from the city’s main park, so close that you can sometimes even hear the peacocks Breakfast is fairly average, but you can still find something decent. Honestly though, with a location like this, it is easier to simply go out into the city, as there are plenty of good breakfast places nearby The rooms are a bit of a lottery 😀 One stay everything is perfectly clean, the next you may find mold on the duvet cover or hair on the towels. It honestly feels like everything depends on which housekeeper is assigned to your room 🤷‍♀️ There is also a restaurant in the hotel, but it felt rather average. I cannot say the food left a strong impression. The lobby and common areas, however, are magnificent. The building itself leaves a very strong impression. We also noticed one funny thing: if you approach the staff with tips from the beginning, people suddenly become much warmer 😅 There is also a great “lazy menu” in the lobby area and a surprisingly good cocktail list. Beautiful old building. Rooms are a little dated & small but extremely comfortable & well serviced. Staff are very friendly, helpful & accommodating. 100% worth a visit for a drink in the lounge area even if you aren’t staying. Stunning historic architecture & a few beautifully preserved tapestries & antique furniture on display.

We had a very warm welcome from a young lady on reception (her brother worked the door) which set the tone. Great room facing the inner courtyard. It would be 5 stars but there was some restoration work going on that was a little noisy. But would stay there again

We stayed here for one night. The hotel was beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious. Other than some stains on the carpet, the rooms were clean. The bed was very comfortable. There were plenty of options for breakfast. The location was perfect. We would stay here again and we would recommend.

23-25 February 2026 l travel to Oviedo and I stayed here. Staffs are very nice and friendly, good hospitality and organization. 😍 Maid are doing well for room service 👍 Room very nice and clean, the bed is very comfortable.🤩 Location is perfect for city walk around 👌 Breakfast, coffee are good also 😋 I will be back here next time surely 👍
