Gran Hotel Regente

This is a tired 1960s era hotel not close to a 4 star. You should not think photo shown are room standards. Ibis has better standard rooms. We did not eat breakfast. This tired hotel needs total renovation to meet 4 star and room €€€ rates. Sorry cannot recommend.

Perfect location in the city centre. Walking distance to the best restaurants. The reception is very helpful

The bathroom is terrible. The sinck take soo much place. It's very hard to move around. The rest of the room is ok. The insulation is poor. You can hear the minimum noise from the neighbors. The staff is courteous except a bald guy that doesn't know any courteous word when addressing to the people. Probably, it was motivated by racism. I left the hotel with a bad impression. I did stay the rest of the 12 days at the Eurostars hotel. It was way much better. I took the taxi when going downtown. The people in the reception were nice and polite. Give four stars is a bit much. Edgar

Very nice hotel, comfortable beds. Didn't think the breakfast was worth 11 as when I went down there was VERY little hot food left.

Rooms are fine, service at the reception very friendly, breakfast buffet plenty. Directly located next to the cathedral and oedestrian area, but with shortterm parking soace for loading and unloading directly in front. Parking overnight possible in the hotel or at a public parking house nearby wirh rebate from hotel
