Hostal Álvarez

Located on the 2nd floor of an apartment building. You need a multiplier for the sockets. Not much space for the suitcases. Big wardrobe. Interior room to patio and you can hear the neighbors. No furniture in the bathroom to put things. Good mattress, but very high pillow. No sound insulation.

Had a really nice time at Hostal Alvarez while walking el Camino! The service was super friendly and helpful, we got a map and lots of information on places to visit and eat when we first checked in. The room was also extremely clean, and I thought the decorations were quite welcoming and cute. The shower is in the bedroom, which might be an issue if you’re not a couple, but it was convenient for us to have a private shower instead of a shared bathroom.

This is an amazing hostel to stay if you are in Oviedo. The prices are good for the room they provide. They clean the rooms everyday with the beds made and new lines for the day. The staff is amazing and most helpful! Also, it is a 5min walk from the bus station and the train station.

Excelent price/quality. If you are looking for a cheap hostel, this is the option. Close to the center, very friendly staff, restaurants and a laundry room is close by. Similar to the pictures advertised. Cons: - bathroom could be more clean (nothing terrible) - a bit noisy from the street (but you are in the city so...). For quiet place countryside is the option.

Well located, reasonably priced hostel in Oviedo. Private shower and toilet. Wifi works. Rooms were clean, but bit shabby looking. Although floor squeaking in the hallway and doorbell sounds loudly to the room the place in general is rather peaceful for the nights sleep.
