Albergue Municipal "San Juan"

Small, comfortable albergue in a beautiful village. Nice strong bunk beds with good storage space for your backpack. Nice communal dinner in the albergue. No garden to hang laundry, so pilgrims hang it in the street.

I recommend! My experience was good. They treated my four legged friend as one more pilgrim. I'm so thankful for that. Dinner time was also really nice. Not only for the food but also because they created a very cosy ambient for us, the pilgrims, to know eachother and enjoy our company. So thank you for that Andrés.

The owner Andres is one of the most, if not the most attentive hosts I had the pleasure of meeting along the Camino Frances. The communal dinner was by far the best I had along the road, it not only catered for vegetarians - which is still far from the norm - but was also protein-filled and had very generous servings. The breakfast was equally excellent. Beautiful albergue with history written deep within into walls, an incredible space to stay. The dorms are spacious, well-ventilated, comfortable with good lighting and secure foot ladders. The only thing missing is a terrace, but you can't have it all, right! Highly recommended, especially for vegans/vegetarians, definitely worth staying and dining here.

Very sweet host, he made an incredible 3 course dinner for 10 euro, one of the best pilgrim meals I’ve had so far. Lovely historic building, beds weren’t the most comfortable but the bunks were big solid wooden ones so you don’t feel your bunk buddy moving around
