What a fantastic place to stay! David's service and attention to detail was fantastic. This was a one stop service for us-drinks, meals and accommodation. David's mum does the cooking and it was freshly made. The rooms were nice, and they provided a laundry service for us Highly recommend!

Nice room and location, David was very friendly and helpful. But, for the price paid, check out at 9am is too early, you should be able to check out later for a place like this in my opinion.

Walking the Camino in March between Rabe de las Calzadas and Castrojeriz. The day was cold and wet. No shops, bars, café were open along the way as I was passing through. But this place was willing to open up when asked. So although they could not serve food the chance to get drinks was much appreciated by myself and two ladies from Finland who were also in need of a refreshment stop. Just what was needed at lunchtime to help me on my way to Castrojeriz. Thanks. If you are walking the Camino out of season just be aware that on this section, you really do need to be more prepared than I was.

This place is incredible! First off the owner is super friendly and will do whatever she can to make your stay the best on the Camino! The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the shower was hot! There is limited space for dinner so if you can, reserve a spot! The food was amazing! The hot goat cheese salad had most people in the room, including myself, claiming it was the best salad they have ever had! We were also treated to a local musician performing while we ate. It truly was one of the Camino experiences I will never forget! Thank you so much!

Honestly one of the most relaxing and enjoyable experiences I've ever had in a hostel. Emma was an attentive and welcoming host from the start. The staff were all really friendly too and made me immediately feel at home. The room was a great price, and I had it to myself, and I then got discount on the pilgrims menu which was the best food so far on the Camino. An oasis of calm after the long walk from Burgos. I would have loved to stay more than a night
