5 / 5 Great place to stay. Clean, comfortable, good location, quiet, comfortable, queen sized bed, and a great home cooked breakfast made to order. Plus owner does a great job of taking care of her guests. One of our favorite stays on the camino. Two thumbs up for this stay!
5 / 5 Perfect for anyone going to Santiago de Compostela on foot, or even driving since parking seems available. Charming and personable here in a quiet part of the village. Better yet, it’s a great town that’s got character and friendly people. Most importantly, the water pressure is great, nice white towels, and appointed with coffee and tea in the room. The lobby and breakfast room is full of ageless charm. Maybe it’s not great for anyone who struggles with stairs since it two flights up to the rooms. Breakfast is optional, but well worth it! Cooked to order eggs, fruit, yogurt (without the added stuff), bacon, sausage, cheese, and a whole pot of paper filtered coffee, hot milk, toast, homemade eggs, and plumb bread, which I took away. To hell with the albergues and their pilgrim meals!
5 / 5 This is a 300 year old home lovingly restored with beautiful little touches everywhere. The living room floor is just amazing! Maika and her husband run a really nice place. Very comfy beds and pillows and very modern bathroom with a great shower and nice toiletries are provided. A little electric kettle in the room to make coffee or tea was greatly appreciated. We were not able to try their meals but the aroma when they were preparing dinner was very appealing! We really enjoy our stay in El Caminero.
5 / 5 Outstanding from start to finish! Beautiful home, gracious hostess, excellent breakfast, quiet, clean, and comfortable. We are grateful for this experience on the Camino!
5 / 5 An incredible tastefully place to stay.
