Rooms were fine.Breakfast was fine too. Got toasts, tea, almond cake. Staff is really grumpy, not unfriendly, but not enthusiastic either. I have not found any WiFi.

Room was basic and clean. Shower hot and commodious. The bar serves reasonably priced good honest fare for lunch and dinner. Not open for breakfast, at least not Sundays. There's a cafe nearby open for breakfast. The husband and wife team who run the place are civil without being engaging.

Bed was comfy, that was it. To be honest, this review is mainly because of the receptionist. He was extremely rude and didn’t really care that I was there. There was a whole empty room and only 4 beds occupied in my dorm so I asked to change beds to not be directly next to someone as there was options to do so, he proceeded to say no, for the reason it was fully booked - that was not true as I moved beds without asking again at 10pm as not a single person arrived after me. I felt like it was out of a power trip more than anything. He really didn’t want to help me. The showers are weird, there’s no privacy so you shower naked next to someone. There’s no separation just a tiny piece of glass. It’s just really odd. They quote on their website “We are the hostel for the end of your stage. The gift you give your body after days of walking.” It couldn’t be further from the truth due to this receptionist and the way they treat their customers.

It's OK. Hot shower after a long walk, weird bath thing though. Clean sheets and a sturdy bed. Not the best coffee and walls are paper thin, I heard someone take a poop and good wifi.

Rooms are ok but a bit dated. The thing that lets this place down is the unwelcoming attitude. The staff are good and actually helpful but a smile would really help to make people feel welcome and lift the atmosphere of the place.
