This bar/restaurant is really well run and highly valued by peregrinos on the camino. The owner/manager is a hardworking person with a good heart. He assisted us when my partner was injured. (We didn't stay there so this review is for the bar only.)
I have had dinner and lunch here on two different Caminos , and it was excellent both times . The seafood was terrific , great service and friendly owner and staff
We had dinner here after a tough 50 km+ ride from Santiago de Compostela. Incredible seafood and delicious Galician wine. The selection of liquors at the bar is better than any we've seen in Galicia. Probably a dozen gins, multiple scotch whiskeys ( 12? Varieties of MacAllan too), even some KY bourbon. Big portions, reasonably priced
Incredible food and hospitality. We had the pilgrim’s menu at just 13€ per person, I ordered a glass of wine and was brought a bottle 😃 the estofado was melt in the mouth 👌🏼 breakfast the following day was delicious with brioche and home made bread - so good they should sell it by the loaf! Such kind and friendly hosts. They even provided us with some extra first aid equipment for our tired Camino feet. Right on the Camino route itself, you would be fools not to stop by.
We had a taster menu and it was absolutely incredible. Great price, quality and service. Totally recommend it and will be going back for sure
